Furnishings pick-up service

We offer FREE FIRST FLOOR pickup service in Wake County for essential furnishings in good condition.

Our movers only pick up our needed core essential items including: sofas, loveseats, dinning/kitchen chairs and small dining tables, dressers, large upholstered chairs, bookcases, coffee tables, end tables, night stands, rocking chairs, side chairs, side tables, sofa tables and lamps. The furniture MUST be in good condition without tears, pet or smoke odors, stains or structural damage. At this time we do not accept sleeper sofas, armoires, china cabinets, beds or mattresses of any kind, headboards, bed frames or TVs/electronics.

If you have an item that you believe is of exceptional value, such as a rug, artwork, a decorative item or a piece of furniture that is not on our acceptance list, please email us at pickups@thegreenchair.org to see if we can put it to good use!

**Due to space limitations in our truck, we cannot pick up items that have not been pre-approved and added to your pickup request online. If you have a large furniture donation pickup request or have a special request, please email us at pickups@thegreenchair.org with photos and details about the contents of your pick up so that we can allocate the right amount of time to serve you.
