February 6, 2023
RALEIGH, NC – Now through March 31st, Target shoppers at participating Triangle locations, can use the Target Circle app to cast votes in support of The Green Chair Project. Votes are earned from eligible Target purchases and automatically populate within a shopper’s individual Circle portal. One eligible purchase is equal to one potential vote.
At the end of the campaign, Target will award each nonprofit vital grants based on the percentage of votes the organization received.
“We are so excited and grateful to have been selected as a Triangle nonprofit partner for the first voting cycle of Target Circle’s 2023 Community Giving Program,” states Jackie Craig, Chief Executive Officer of The Green Chair Project. “The initiative allows everyday shoppers to easily support a number of local nonprofit efforts, all while amplifying our mission and celebrating our commitment to changing lives. It’s a win/win.”
HOW TO VOTE
Voting is restricted to shoppers currently enrolled in the Target Circle membership program. Once enrolled, Circle members can submit their votes via the Target mobile app or by logging into their account online at target.com/circle.
Prior to voting, Target Circle members should verify the store preference saved within their individual Circle Portal is one of the participating locations listed above.
From there, members are directed to the “Community Support” tab. Here, shoppers can determine the number of available votes at their disposal, accumulated from previous eligible Target purchases, and cast their votes within the corresponding links under each featured Community nonprofit.
The voting process is ongoing, and users are not restricted by the number of submissions entered. Through March 31st, Circle members will continue earning votes from eligible purchases unlocking more opportunities to vote in support of their preferred local nonprofit during the campaign. All participating nonprofits will be awarded a percentage of the proceeds following the final vote tally. Each nonprofit is guaranteed to receive a minimum of $200.
By voting for The Green Chair Project, local supporters contribute to our firm’s ongoing commitment to furnishing homes and changing lives across our community.
