Trust the Whisper

In Trust the Whisper, award-winning author Kathy Izard shares twenty inspirational true stories of people who listened to their quiet callings and the remarkable results that followed. Included in her new book is the story of how Jackie Craig’s whisper led to the creation of The Green Chair Project as well as some amazing God Dots that connected to other’s callings as a result.This book will leave you not only paying attention to the ordinary grace in your own life but wondering: what’s my whisper?

Kathy Izard is an award-winning author and speaker who helped bring transformation to Charlotte in homelessness, housing and mental health. She has published five inspirational books—three for adults and two for children. As the mom of four daughters and grandmother to two grandsons, Kathy believes in the power of intergenerational reading to discuss big topics. The Hundred Story Home and A Good Night for Mr. Coleman can be paired as a parent-child read to understand homelessness and how one person can make a difference. Her new books Grace Heard a Whisper and Trust the Whisper (June 2024) can be read together to explore the idea of a calling and living a purpose-filled life. Kathy’s work has been featured on NPR and the Today Show inspiring people to be changemakers in their communities. www.kathyizard.com
