Much of our day-to-day is driven by volunteers who dedicate their time to move our mission forward. Whether it’s packing supplies, moving furniture, or helping with a donation drive — the selflessness of our volunteers secures the success of the life-changing initiatives we’re implementing in our community. Read below to see all the ways you can get involved with us.

Volunteer At Our Facility

We offer a variety of ways for you to engage in our work as a volunteer, and there is something for each skill set, comfort level, and time commitment. Below are some of the different areas volunteers make a difference with us every day:

We are in immediate need for volunteers to sew home décor items. This can be completed off-site on the volunteer’s own schedule. If this opportunity is of interest to you, please complete our volunteer interest form. Someone will reach out as soon as possible.

Are you reaching out on behalf of a corporate, community, or school group? We love to have groups join us and assist with many of the same tasks as our individual volunteers. We offer several ways to host a drive at your organization, business, neighborhood, or facility. Our team will work with you to make it all happen. Simply click the button below to get the conversation started.

Pillow Drive
- Drop off brand-new bed pillows in their original packaging to the Green Chair Project
Bath Bundles Drive
- Items include bath towels (x4), hand towels (x4), washcloths (x2), bath mat, shower curtain w/rings, soap
Bedding Drive
- Items include brand-new pillows, twin comforter, twin sheets, twin blankets, twin mattress pad
Kitchen Drive
- Items include dishes, flatware, mugs, skillets, sauce pans, drinking glasses

Volunteer Guidelines

To volunteer with The Green Chair Project, the minimum requirements are:

Must be 13 years or older
A parent or guardian must accompany 13-15 year-olds
All minors (ages 13-17) must have a parent or guardian complete our minor release form
