Thank you for making Chairity a success!

Chairity 2023 was a HUGE success – thanks to you! You helped make well-equipped homes possible for over 1,400 children and families across our community.

We are still in awe of the outpouring of support we received from our sponsors, product partners, designers, volunteers, and donors. As we witnessed all the beautiful rooms, chairs, art, and pillows coming together at The Green Chair Project headquarters, we saw firsthand the transformative impact these essentials can have on a space.

Now that we are gradually returning to our daily routines—dismantling the designer living spaces, connecting eager shoppers with Chairity purchases, and enjoying our last looks at this year’s designs—we want to express our sincere appreciation for the creativity and craftsmanship that made it all possible. Our living space and chair designers exceeded expectations in absolutely every way. Behind the scenes, the generosity of our Product Partners and the skill of our designers contributing to this year’s Pillow Pop-Up kept us stocked with fabulous offerings.

Altogether it was a much-appreciated team effort!

We also want to acknowledge those who celebrated our Co-Founder, Jackie Craig. Chairity was born from Jackie’s dream of uniting the design and home industry behind supporting our mission of Furnishing Homes and Changing Lives. As Jackie moves into her new chapter after 14 years of leading The Green Chair Project, we’re honored to continue the legacy she started.

The proceeds from this year’s event will help us provide beds for every child we serve and ensure that every family has a well-equipped home. If you’re inspired to support us beyond Chairity through furniture donations, generous contributions, volunteering, or online shopping, you’re making a life-changing difference for those in need.

Celebrating Home

What is Chairity?

For over a decade, The Green Chair Project’s signature Chairity event has united creatives & community behind one crucial cause: providing in-need Wake County children and families with the household essentials for a safe, nurturing and healthy home.

As our impact expanded, so did our vision.

What originally started as an annual designer chair auction, has evolved today into our signature multi-day home showcase featuring 40+ contributing interior design & furnishing industry leaders & endless opportunities for our community to shop for good.

Changing Lives

Who does Chairity Support?

When our neighbors face the challenges of homelessness, crises, disaster or other unforeseen circumstances, the resources made possible from Chairity provide a lifeline. We supply children with beds, families with basic essentials and ultimately, better our entire community for it.

Last year alone, we made it possible for 2,000 children and families in our community to have a well-equipped home.

This year? We want to go bigger (and we want you to be a part of it). As our impact expanded, so did our vision.

“The success of this year’s Chairity event will provide much-needed resources to carry out the important work of providing every child we serve with a bed of their own and ensuring every family has the opportunity to have a well-equipped home to nourish and sustain them.

Thank you for fueling the power of our mission: ‘Furnishing Homes. Changing Lives’ to create an even better community together!”
