The Green Chair Project Celebrates Giving Tuesday Success

The Green Chair Project is thrilled to announce the success of its Giving Tuesday campaign. Through the community’s overwhelming support, The Green Chair Project raised over $27,000 in less than 24 hours, a testament to the collective commitment to positively impacting the lives of families across Wake County.

Overall, Giving Tuesday contributions totaled $27,761 towards The Green Chair’s mission. The success of this campaign was made possible by the generosity of individuals, businesses, and organizations who rallied behind The Green Chair Project. Notably, the Nugget company played a pivotal role in promoting the campaign through their highly successful Instagram campaign, helping to spread awareness and encourage contributions.

“We sincerely thank our friends at Nugget for their enthusiastic support in promoting The Green Chair Project throughout their Giving Tuesday campaign. Their commitment to making a difference in our community has been instrumental in our success,” said Rae Marie Czuhai, Chief Executive Officer of The Green Chair Project.

In addition to the Nugget company, The Green Chair Project wishes to express deep appreciation to the organization 1C1313 for their generous matching gift, which significantly boosted the campaign’s impact. It is worth noting that Blackwell Mortgage is the proud parent company of 1C1313, further solidifying the local business community’s dedication to philanthropy and community well-being.

“This achievement would not have been possible without the incredible support from 1C1313 and Blackwell Mortgage. Their commitment to matching contributions played a pivotal role in reaching and exceeding our fundraising goal,” remarked Czuhai.

The funds raised during the Giving Tuesday campaign will enable The Green Chair Project to expand its outreach efforts, providing essential furnishings and support to more families and children in need throughout Wake County.

Chief Executive Officer Rae Marie Czuhai expressed her gratitude, saying, “We are truly humbled by the outpouring of support from our community. These generous contributions will have a profound impact on our ability to reach and uplift even more families and children, creating homes filled with warmth and dignity.”

As The Green Chair Project continues its mission of Furnishing Homes and Changing Lives, the organization looks forward to building on this success and working collaboratively with the community to make a lasting difference in the lives of those they serve.
